Since we have been hearing and seeing and reading about the New York and London Fashion Week constantly, I thought this was a good time for a runway trend alert. The runways bring up a lot of trends and most of them are great to see on the runway. But I usually want to leave them there and cannot realistically think of wearing most of these trends – actually walking down a street and not looking completely ridiculous. I decided to pick out the trends I liked from the recent runways. These are basically things I can see myself actually wearing. First one up is definitely my favourite jewellery trend – ever! (Close second, stacked rings).

How to Wear Your Summer Clothes in Winter #OOTD
Its not shocking that once its officially winter and I can no longer wear skirts without tights or go out without at least two layers, I long to wear all my summer clothes. A friend in India recently asked me how I have managed – have I packed up my summer clothes (or Bombay clothes), forgotten till next year or do I still try to make them work? I have been trying to make them work – with varying results. This is one of the success stories of wearing my summer clothes with a winter twist.
