Denim Shirt as a Jacket #OOTD

For someone who loves jackets, it’s quite strange that I do not own a single denim jacket. They never seemed to quite fit in with my lifestyle in Bombay (where it was too hot to wear denim jackets) and don’t really provide enough protection from London’s cold weather like my leather jackets.

I have been wearing my Gap denim shirt as a shirt and strangely, as a jacket almost as much and for as long and almost always over a dress.

SUMMER WARDROBE CHALLENGE

Day 28: Give some personality to your typical white button-down shirt.

So here I am, doing what I do best. Drinking coffee and chilling. It was a warm pleasant day in London and we decided to be touristy and head to the London Eye. It was gorgeous. One of the few days I managed to wear a skirt without goosebumps and shivers going down my spine. Not sure how well I managed my challenge but I think it looks pretty all right. Does it?

Me and my coffee.

SUMMER WARDROBE CHALLENGE

I started with my summer wardrobe challenge. I am thrilled my sister is around to take pictures of me instead of me taking them myself (in my kitchen mind you).

I would like to tell you first off that I am not a person who wears black and white. I always need colour. Even though its minimal black and white I had to pair with a bright lip colour and my favourite pink bag. Happy that my black faux leather jacket is coming to use now . Since I couldn’t deal with more solids, polka dots were my compromise.

Day 10 – Go for a minimal black and white look.
